LeFlore Public Schools is pleased to announce that we will be providing summer school to K-12 students who are enrolled in our district. The focus of the summer school will be to provide intense remediation in math and reading. We will be providing breakfast and lunch to students, however we will not be providing transportation.
May 16-19 8:00 – 3:00
May 23-26 8:00 – 3:00
May 31-June2 8:00 – 3:00
Students will be bringing home a form to sign up.

The 5th and 6th grade ballgames for today have been cancelled.

LeFlore Schools is now taking applications for our 3-year old program for the 22/23 school year. Children must be 3 by September 1, 2022 and be toilet-trained. We have 12 openings and preference will be given to children who reside in our district. Applications can be picked up from Katie Pearson in the High School office.

State Testing Schedule


The elementary gifted and talented group is on their way home from Tulsa. We expect to arrive at the school between 5:30 and 6:00 pm.

Today's JH baseball game will be starting at 1:30pm. High School varsity baseball will start after JH finishes around 2:45pm. All games are at home.

The elementary gifted and talented trip to The Gathering Place will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 12th. We will be leaving PROMPTLY at 7:00 AM, and we’re aiming to return between 5:00-6:00 PM. The students will not be able to attend if they do not turn in their permission slips. If you have any questions, you can contact Lori Ryles at 918-448-2005.

STEM Camp for JH/HS.


Graduation cap and gown pictures are tomorrow, April 6th. Seniors will begin at 7:30 am with kindergarten to follow and 8th grade last. Proofs will be sent home at a later date.
Boys need to wear a shirt with a collar and jeans/pants.

The JH Slowpitch County Tourn. has been cancelled today due to the rain.
The tournament will moved the Thursday and Friday at the PARC at the same times.

The High School girls softball game for today has been cancelled.

The High School Baseball games for today have been moved to Tuesday, same times but moved to Poteau.

Just an update on our phone problems. An outside phone system company will be here tomorrow to hopefully troubleshoot our issue and repair our phones. We are still unable to receive in coming calls dependably. We are still able to make outgoing calls but incoming calls only work sometimes. We are sorry for the ongoing issues.

LeFlore Public Schools has a current opening for a route bus driver and for a substitute bus driver. Qualified candidates must have a current Oklahoma CDL with a PS endorsement. Please fill out an application at the Superintendent's office, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The 3rd and 4th grade ballgames scheduled for today have been cancelled.

A Balfour representative will be at the school on March 31st to take orders for graduation announcements and letterman jackets. Also, if your senior has not paid for their cap & gown, the 31st is the final day for payment. The cap & gown price is $45.


The Junior High baseball game for today has been cancelled. The high school varsity game will now begin at 4:00pm.

I wanted to reach out and remind you of an upcoming scholarship deadline for your Choctaw Tribal Member graduating seniors! The Chahta Foundation Scholarships application will close March 31st. It is a great opportunity for all Choctaw Tribal Members attending high school within the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma boundaries. It is a universal one-time application that allows students to apply for multiple scholarships through one application!
