LeFlore School's annual Veteran's Day program will be Wednesday, November 11th at 8:45 am.

Our county has been elevated to an Orange Level II. Masks will once again be required for all students in grades 2nd - 12th and highly recommended for grades PreK - 1st. Students must have a mask on when boarding a bus or when being dropped off at school as well as in the classroom. Please continue to monitor your child for a fever and other COVID related symptoms, in addition to promoting frequent handwashing and social distancing.

We have completed our contact tracing and all students who had direct contact have been notified. Students who are in quarantine will also receive a letter from the Department of Health concerning the exposure.

We have had a positive COVID test in our upper elementary. Per the directive from the Oklahoma Department of Health, we are in the process of contacting parents of those students who are affected and will have to quarantine. Return date for those students will be November 17th.

The JOM trip scheduled today for 3rd-6th has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

November 5th game with Whitesboro

November 3rd is our first home basketball game. There will be no advanced admission tickets sold, however the gate will open at 3:15 for general admission. Masks will not be required, but are highly recommended due to the increased risk of COVID19 transmission. In addition, fans are encouraged to sit with individuals within their own household or with individuals in which they have normal close contact. We also ask that fans social distance whenever possible and practice CDC recommended precautions.
If you have been exposed to COVID19 within the last 14 days or are awaiting test results, we ask that you please not attend.

First grade voted for their presidential cat-idate. Between Pete The Cat, Skippyjon Jones, and The Cat In The Hat, Skippyjon Jones came out on top with a total of 8 votes. Congrats Skippyjon, and well done first grade.

Second grade voted for their very own classroom mascot today! They learned about tallying votes, proper etiquette in voter booths, and even about voter registration! Our election was even complete with our very own paparazzi.

Our 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls games will start at 5:00 in Hodgen. Those students will need to stay after school to ride the bus to the games. Our bus will leave at 4:00. Thank you.
