Eastern Oklahoma State College will be coming August 18th at 10:00 am to visit with the seniors about degree programs and scholarship opportunities. In addition, Balfour will have a representative here at 11:30 to talk with students about class rings, letterman jackets, and graduation memorabilia.
Come out and Be a Hero!

The High School baseball games for today at Buffalo Valley have been cancelled.
Students who plan to drive to school, will receive a form on the first day of school that must be signed by a parent. In addition, the student must show a valid driver's license (no learners permit) and a valid insurance verification in order to drive to school and park on school premises.
Due to Pre-K students bringing a nap mat and other supplies, parents will be allowed to walk their Pre-K student to their classroom on the first day of school. We ask that you bring them at 7:45 so that the drop-off traffic and busses are cleared out and you will have a place to park.
Softball and Baseball Schedules

LeFlore Early Childhood Center is ready to learn.

All students entering our 3 year old program and our Pre-K program must be potty trained in order to attend. We understand that accidents sometimes happen, however, students should not wear a diaper or a pull-up. In the event that your child has a medical issue or a disability that affects being potty trained, we ask that you provide the school with documentation so that we know how to best serve your child.
On Monday, August 9th, all 7th - 12th students will report to their class sponsor when the 1st bell rings. There will be a list on the high school doors of the sponsors. Students will receive their class schedule at this time. (Seniors will need to report to school at 7:45 even if they do not have a 1st hour class).
Class Rings and Graduation Information.

The first day of school will be August 9th. We will not be having a pre-enrollment day. Students who have previously attended LeFlore School will receive a form the first day of school to update any information. New students will need to be accompanied by a parent on the first day of school in order to enroll.
We have been notified by CDI that they will no longer be providing a 3 year old program at LeFlore School. Our school is working to provide a program for a limited number of students. The program will be offered to students living in our district and will be based on need and age. If your child will be 3 by September 1, you will need to fill out an application next week with Jamie Sumpter. Jamie will be at the school from 8:00 - 3:00, the 3rd-5th. Students who are chosen for the program will not start until August 23rd.
Don't forget that physicals are tomorrow, Tuesday, July 27 9:00 am to noon in the new gym. All students grades 7th - 12th must have a physical to play any sports. The cost is $10.00 and parents have to sign several forms including the physical. Bus drivers must also take their physical during the same hours.
