We would like to remind everyone that our baccalaureate ceremony will begin today at 1:00 with graduation taking place at 2:00. Doors will open at 12:30. If you plan to only attend graduation please wait until about 1:30 to enter so as not to interrupt the baccalaureate service. We do have some policies in place to try to help as much as we can with social distancing and would appreciate everyone’s help in trying to help us with these. Please stay off of the floor area unless you have a ticket from a senior. Thank You

LeFlore Seniors, Family, and Friends LeFlore Public Schools is pleased to announce that the Baccalaureate and Senior graduation date has been set. The Baccalaureate will be on June 27th at 1:00 in the new gym with the graduation following at 2:00. Following recommendations from the State Dept. of Ed, each graduate will be given 6 tickets to hand out to family members. Each ticket holder will have the opportunity to sit in chairs on the gym floor and all others must sit in the bleachers. Though this is not the ending that anyone would have expected for our seniors, we know that collectively we will create new memories that will be no less special or meaningful. I would like you to know that this decision was not made lightly by our administration and at this time our most important priority is the health and well-being of everyone involved. Saying this, we ask that each of you take it upon yourselves to decide whether to attend or not and to follow the safe practices that our federal and state government have advised which include wearing PPE such as masks and social distancing with people that are not within your immediate family! Additionally, we will be live streaming the ceremony on Facebook and recording it for those families that cannot or choose not to attend. Even in the midst of uncertainty, we have the power to conscientiously choose joy and celebration as the cornerstones of this very important time in our children’s lives. Rest assured, our future is in great hands as these students are our future leaders! Sincerely, Bill Neyman LeFlore Superintendent
