Congratulations to Sara Ellis! She was selected to attend the GEAR UP Tour of Texas trip. She will have the opportunity to tour several colleges, visit museums, and visit the Texas Instrument facility.
Baseball Districts
We have a current opening for a full time teacher's aide for Kindergarten. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma and a ParaProfessional certificate. Please come by the superintendent's office for an application or email your resume to dbeck@leflore.k12.ok.us.
We are still experiencing problems with our phones due to the lightening strike last Friday. We can't receive call from the outside nor make calls to the outside. The new switch has been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible. Sorry for inconvenience.

If any students who received a Kindle tablet have a message on the the tablet that says parental controls are on, please bring the tablet to school on Monday and we will correct the problem.

Kindle Fire Giveaway
As part of our Innovative Approaches to Literacy Grant, we will be giving away Kindle Fire Tablets to the first 100 students to visit the library tonight during Parent/Teacher Conference. Students must be enrolled at LeFlore School and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive the Kindle.

Our first parent teacher conference for this school year will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 12th starting at 3:40 pm and ends at 9:40 pm. Please come visit your child teachers.

The Third grade learned about citizenship at school by picking up litter on their playground. Kaiden Welch said, "Now we know we are good citizens and our playground is cleaner!"
