Gifted and Talented students 3rd thru 7th grade received a field trip form this past Tuesday. Both pages of this form need to be filled out and return to the school by Monday, April 19th. This form gives us an idea of how many gifted and talented students will be attending the annual spring trip scheduled for April 27th. Thank you.

8th grade and High School graduation is May 14 at 7:00 pm in the new gym. At this time, there will be no restrictions on attendance at the graduation.

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering summer school for students currently enrolled in PreK - 3rd. Summer school will be held June 1 - June 30. Applications will be sent home today with students and should be returned to Becky Deatherage.

The Choctaw Nation offers a wide variety of activities for Choctaw youth every year. From athletic clinics and STEAM camps to field trips. All camps are offered to participants 8-18, except for Golf and Wildlife Camps, which are geared to participants ages 10-18. Camps will begin in late May and run through the end of July. All participants must have a Choctaw CDIB & Membership Card or be a child of an employee of Choctaw Nation to attend. All children must be pre-registered before each camp. Children will not be allowed on buses without approved registration. There are no overnight camps. Due to the co-op agreement between Talihina and Cameron, the 3 way games are at Talihina. The schedule does say @ Cameron. However, the games were moved to Talihina. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you.

Congratulations to Christopher Loyd on his selection for Oklahoma Academic All-State. He is the first LeFlore student to be selected for this honor. Our Academic Team has been very successful during Christopher's four years as a member, placing 4th overall his Freshman year, State Runner-Up his Sophomore and Junior year, and 3rd overall his Senior year in Class A competition. We are proud of Christopher and our Academic Team.
