LeFlore Public Schools

The LeFlore County Softball and Baseball tournament will begin on Tuesday. Softball will play at the PARC at 4pm on Tuesday. We will post when we have an update on baseball.

We are excited to announce that our school has received the TSET Healthy School Incentive Grant. The grant will be used to remove an unsafe storage building and will be replaced with a covered area where JH and HS students can gather. The area will have tables and seating and will provide a multi-use place that supports collaboration, social interaction, boost creativity, and promotes relaxation and well-being as well as provide an outdoor classroom. Our goal is to have the area completed by the beginning of the 25-26 school year.

We are excited to announce that Zoey Vincent has been selected for Academic All-State. She has put in a lot of hard work and it is a well deserved honor.

Bass Tournament

We would like to invite all Choctaw seniors and their parents on April 8th at 10am to attend the Choctaw Senior Recognition Ceremony to honor all Choctaw tribal members for their accomplishments. This will be hosted by Councilman Jess Henry and the High School Student Services (HSSS) team. Each Choctaw senior will receive their graduation cords during this event, and High School Student Services members will receive a small gift.

Today our students participated in the Eastern Scholastic Contest. We are so proud of all the students who went and participated. Hs softball plays at home starting at 4:30 with Gans and Antlers. Tuesday, they play at Kiowa. JH plays at home tomorrow vs Heavener on the new field at 4:30 and Tuesday at home at 4 vs Fanshawe.

Highschool and JH softball will play at Cameron on Thursday. HS will start at 1:15. JH will start at 2:45. JH should arrive back at school around 4:30.

Due to Mrs. Clingan being out sick, the Elementary Dance on Friday will be postponed. Also, she will not be at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday. She will schedule phone conferences at a later date.

Elementary Dance

Congratulations to Miriam Luce. She has been awarded the Myles Friedman Honors Program Scholarship to the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. This scholarship is valued at $40,000. We are so proud of her hard work and dedication.
