**IMPORTANT**
House Bill 3958 became effective on July 1st. This bill states that certain communication with a student must include the student's parent or guardian, except for emergencies. School employees will only be able to communicate with students using certain school-approved platforms. We are in the process of determining what those approved communication platforms will be. Electronic or digital communication including, but not limited to, personal emails, text messages, instant messages, direct messages, and social media messages between a school employee and a student are prohibited without inclusion of the parent or guardian. Until the school has determined approved platforms, digital communication should come from parents or guardians.

I had a goal of being finished with state testing by April 25th. I am proud to say that we have finished all state testing for the year. I want to say a big thank you to all of the teachers, proctors, parents, and students who did their part in making our testing go as smoothly as it did.

Library books and Chromebooks need to be checked in tomorrow. If your child still has a book or Chromebook checked out to them, they received a notice today with the name of the book and cost to replace. If your child plans to purchase a Chromebook, they still need to check it in.

Library books and student Chromebook are due this Thursday April 25th. If students are planning to buy their Chromebook, they will still need to check them in at the library to be removed from the system.
