Our Ag department grew some of the prettiest and largest mums ever. Our students, Megan Pruitt, and Mr. Waller put a lot of time and effort in this project and it shows.

We will have our Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday, November 17th. Family members are welcome to eat with elementary classes only, and meals will be $4.25 each. If you choose to eat with a student, you will need to meet them in the cafeteria during their lunch time. Please do not go to their classrooms first. If you go to the classroom first, you will be directed to the cafeteria.

Pre k-kg: 10:30 to 10:50
1st-2nd: 10:50 to 11:10
3rd-4th: 11:30 to 11:50
5th-6th: 11:10 to 11:30

The Eastern Oklahoma State College scholarship application for the 2022-2023 academic year is now open!
The scholarship application is one single application for all EOSC scholarships, and the deadline for submission is February 21st. The application and a list of all EOSC sponsored scholarships can be found on the EOSC website here: https://www.eosc.edu/admissions-aid/scholarships
We encourage all seniors to submit an application as soon as possible! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the Scholarship Office of EOSC at 918.465.1768.
Just a reminder, The Choctaw Nation will be at our school on Monday, November 8th @ 9:00 AM, giving out flu shots. We will be passing out more consent forms for this. So if you want your child to receive the flu shot, they MUST return that form. Thank you.

JOM students are almost back to the school.
For today only 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Mr. Waller is selling his remaining mums off the field for $12.00. Please come during this time. Thank you.
For the Gifted and Talented high school and junior high parents. Please make sure your child is at the school by 7:20 with their signed permission form. The bus will be leaving promptly at 7:30. Anyone late, or without their permission form will not be able to go. Thank you.
5th/6th Academic Districts
We would like to remind 9th - 12th students that the Choctaw Nation College Connect Virtual Event is being held November 4th. Students and parents will be able to interact with colleges during this event. Students will need to register for the event at https://www.choctawcollegeconnect.com/registration.html
Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) is a program that helps children who would have received free or reduced-price meals at their schools if not for the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no application process for these benefits. Families will receive benefits automatically if their school has identified to OSDE that a student qualifies. If you did not receive your card by Oct. 15, 2021 and believe that your child qualifies, you will need to fill out an application at https://sde.ok.gov/pebt. If you need your child's STN to complete the application, please email Mrs. Deatherage at bdeatherage@leflore.k12.ok.us.
Flu shots from the Choctaw Nation have been rescheduled for November 9th at 9:00 am. Forms have already been sent home for the flu shots. But if you need another form, we can send one home with your child. Please make sure the forms are filled out and turned in beforehand. Otherwise, your child will not be able to receive the shot. Thank you.
